Biography
I have worked independently as a solo vocalist, supporting Reggae greats such as Sanchez, Peter Hunningale, Lloyd Brown, Don Campbell, Ossie Gad of Natural Ites, Vivien Jones, Janet Kay, Carol Thompson, Mike Anthony, Peter Spence and Chris Ellis to name but a few.
I've been fortunate and honoured to perform on the same stage as British Reggae royalty such as Barry Boom, Sandra Cross, Paulette Tajah and Michael Gordon. Who all appeared on my annual Lovers Rock Showcase event which takes place in August in my home town of Leeds.
In 2016 I collaborated with Tippa Irie on "Questions" produced and recorded by Clevie Nunie & GT Haynes. "Questions" gained traction and got airplay by David Rodigan on BBC Radio 1Xtra. 2019 saw an opportunity to work alongside Reggae legend Barry Boom who wrote and produced "First Impression.
I've been on this singer songwriter journey since I was 15 years old, developing my vocal skills, teaching myself to play the bass guitar and generally learning to master this art form. As my journey continues I'd like to invite you along for the ride to share where this musical path takes me next.
